Funky Times combine musical perfectionism with pure passion on stage. The band stands for modern, handcrafted funk executed at the highest technical level, designed above all to do one thing: bring joy and get people moving.

Whether in an intimate jazz club or in front of thousands on a major festival stage, the band’s high-energy live show works everywhere. Touring internationally, they have completed tours across Europe, a tour of Asia in spring 2026, and a performance at the renowned Java Jazz Festival in Indonesia.

With driving basslines, virtuosic keyboard solos, and a singing drummer, Funky Times create an incredibly tight sound. This blend of musical sophistication and infectious vibe is also appreciated by international peers: joint sessions have already led to collaborations with musicians such as Henrik Linder (Dirty Loops) and former Prince trumpeter Philip Lassiter.
