Bold, direct, high-energy—that’s MAIVA. MAIVA’s lyrics are unapologetically honest & sometimes a little brash, served with a dash of agave syrup. She knows exactly how to provoke without losing her sense of humor. Even when tackling heavy topics—whether heartbreak or excessive overthinking—MAIVA stays in a league of her own: sharp-tongued, ironic, and never without that signature touch of lightness. Ouch? Sure. But she turns it into a punchline and takes it in stride.

With playful ease, MAIVA has been tearing up German stages as a powerhouse of energy since 2023, and through more than 80 live shows, she has never left her attitude behind—whether supporting Alphaville, Raum27, and Soffie, or sharing lineups with Bruckner and Paula Hartmann. After two years of singing in English, she took the next step in 2025: her first German single, "Was darf’s denn sein?", dropped in February, with the full EP following on November 21st. By switching to her native language, she is making it crystal clear: no more half measures—just pure MAIVA.
